Home Education

Access our popular schools service with workshops for home educated children.

At the start of each term we offer one of our school workshops for individual booking from home educated families. Workshops are either all day or 2 hours, depending on the topic and are held at the museum (with one exception this year). Workshops are suitable for 5-12 year olds, and will be of mixed ages. All materials are provided, just bring a packed lunch and enjoy seeing and handling real objects, historical crafts and dressing up.

We are currently taking expression of interest for the workshops; please email [email protected] Closer to the time once we know what government guidance is, we will confirm bookings from this and take payment for the sessions.

Dates for workshops in 2021/22 are currently being decided.
