‘Dark ages’, ‘Anglo-Saxon’, ‘Early English’- The 5th to the 10th century can be a confusing time to learn about but we’re here to shed some light. Talks, activities, crafts and some dressing up will bring this period to life. We’ll also explore the abbey field opposite the museum to walk in the footsteps of Anglo-Saxon monks.
