Bernard Pardoe Education Room

Bernard Pardoe was a founding member of the Chertsey Society, a keen local amateur historian and a trustee of the Olive Matthews Trust. He lived in the Borough of Runnymede from the 1950s until his death. In 2002/03 the Olive Matthews Trust funded the refurbishment of The Cedars and the building of the Bernard Pardoe Room in his memory.

The Bernard Pardoe Room is a multi-use space primarily used as an education room when school groups are visiting. However, it is also used for talks and events and as a place to visitors to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
