London Mithras Temple & Museum of London trip

We are heading up to London to see the amazing Mithraeum that has been found underneath the Bloomberg Building in the City of London.

The coach leaves Chertsey Museum at 9:15am to take us straight up to the Roman Temple. We then have a chance to explore the temple and see the artefacts uncovered before our very own YAC leader, Dr Euan, leads us on a short walk to the Museum of London pointing out some interesting things along the way!

The Museum of London has a lunch space where we can have our packed lunch (or YACs that have come with their families are welcome to pop to the cafe!). After a look around the museum the coach will be back to pick us up at the Museum of London at around 3:30pm returning to Chertsey Museum around 4:45pm.

The trip is open to the whole family, or YACs (8-16 year olds) can come on their own being accompanied by the YAC leaders.

If coming as a family, apart from the timed ticket for the temple and the coach pickup/ drop offs, you are welcome to spend the day as you see fit!
